TrainerFit provides marketing and referral services for the Heath and Fitness community. As a promotional services cooperative, Trainerfit's mission is to match Health and Fitness professionals and consumers. Our web and local market promotional efforts are targeted at the weight loss and weight training industry. 

Based in Los Angeles, Trainerfit's provides resources for those that seek a more active lifestyle and need help getting started.  Health and Fitness professionals can build comprehensive profiles detailing their skills, certifications and qualifications. Consumers can search trainer profiles based on these and other factors that might appeal to them.  Trainerfit.net gives them a chance to make a more informed choice for heath and wellness options in their neighborhood.

Trainerfit was created to address a marketing problem in the Fitness industry.  Many independent fitness professionals (not affiliated with a gym) rely on word-of-mouth to attract business.  What's needed is a cohesive, concerted and prolonged marketing system.  Something that doesn't cost a lot each month and can yield great results over time. 

Trainerfit.net is that system.  We post a services profile for Trainerfit members.  We market them on the web while running local marketing progams like direct mailers, promotional events and ads. 

Marketing drives the consumer to the web site.  Visitors scan profiles and Trainers get referrals from the system.  For as little as the cost of a single referral fee a Trainer member could pick up thousands of dollars in new business each year. 

Founder

Trainerfit was founded in January 2009 by Richard Lutterbie.  Richard has 15 years experience in the Information Technology industry as a sales and marketing professional.  This is his third business venture.  He founded Thinet (a software vendor) in 1997 and Scion (a Internet software hosting firm) in 2001.  While Trainerfit is a departure from his other projects, in a lot of ways it's more of the same.  Build a company, create a service and market it.
